How can it help me?

The Useful Testing Information website provides testing information for:

  • California STAR Program
  • California High School Exit Exam
  • College Entrance Testing
  • Test Taking Strategies
  • Classroom Assessment

Each of the above components includes a brief introduction followed by background information. Several sets of annotated links are grouped for relevance to different audiences (e.g., “Students and Parents,” “Teachers, Counselors, and Administrators”). Many of the links provide useful information that is applicable to audiences beyond those listed.

Another primary goal of this website is to quickly and directly provide readers with readily available Internet resources that contain important and useful information for dealing with the concepts of testing, standards, and assessment.
